Over the years Limerick has produced great musical acts such as Granny's Intentions, Tuesday Blue, The Driven, The Hitchers, Woodstar, and of course, The Cranberries — one of Ireland's biggest musical exports ever. And now with the ‘Limrock’ music scene healthier than it's been in years, Cranberries guitarist Noel Hogan decided it was time to celebrate the current crop of new musical talent coming out of the Treaty City through the release of the compilation, Tonelist.

“This CD is first and foremost a celebration of Limerick's rich and diverse music scene. There are so many great bands and singers in Limerick doing great work right now and they really deserve to be heard by a larger audience...The objective is to highlight the huge amount of wonderful music being created locally and to give it a springboard onto the national stage,” - Noel Hogan/Gohan Records.
